Patsy & Kathy began with a stack of poems written by Patsy Jezak — a mom and grandma who believed children learn best when they're laughing. Her poems were playful, gentle, and rooted in the values families teach at home: say please and thank you, stand up for yourself kindly, love who you are, and yes — change your undies on Sundays.

Kathy is Patsy's daughter, and she grew up with these poems, hearing them at the kitchen table, in the car, and anywhere a giggle was needed. She always believed they were secretly songs. Turns out she was right: together, mother and daughter turned Grandma's poems into music, and Patsy & Kathy was born.

Today those poems are songs: warm, singable tunes about the small, silly moments that add up to growing a good kid. Made for parents first and kids a close second, our music teaches without preaching. No flashing chaos, no earworms you'll regret — just stories, rhymes, and melodies families actually enjoy together, from the car ride to school to winding down at bedtime.

Patsy is a retired teacher, mother, and grandmother who has been writing poetry for fifty years, first for her students, then her children, then her grandchildren. Sharing these ideas in song is the encore she's most excited about.
