the story behind the songs

Patsy & Kathy began with a stack of poems written by Patsy Jezak — a mom and grandma who believed children learn best when they're laughing. Her poems were playful, gentle, and rooted in the values families teach at home: say please and thank you, stand up for yourself kindly, love who you are, and yes — change your undies on Sundays.

[Add here: who Kathy is and how the musical partnership came together — e.g., "Kathy, Patsy's daughter, grew up hearing these poems and always believed they were secretly songs..."]

Today those poems are songs: warm, singable tunes about the small, silly moments that add up to growing a good kid. Made for parents first and kids a close second, our music teaches without preaching. No flashing chaos, no earworms you'll regret — just stories, rhymes, and melodies families actually enjoy together, from the car ride to school to winding down at bedtime.
